First week in Paris

Alright, it's gonna be hard to type on this iPod.
I'm sitting in my hotel room in Paris. Decent hotel, convenient and all. Located right in the Bastille area

So here are the highlights:

D1: visited l'Orangerie, a museum, and what u liked the most were the two oval rooms that displayed wall length Monet water lillies paintings.
After that I went to Notre-Dame and the exterior of Louvre. Crossed Pont-Neuf. Everything just wonderful.

D2: Musee d'Orsay. Spent almost 4 hours there taking notes while listening to my professor lecture but all the famous paintings made up for it. I'll post up all the pics! After that les Invalides, where Napoleon's tomb is. And then Eiffel Tower:). Dream come true right there. I wish I was a Parisian then I could lie on the grass in front of it to look at it all day. But tourists might start to bother me hah!

D3: musee de Picasso. A lot of his paintings and sculptures, but "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" is in New York. :( after that , les Champs Elysees and the real Arc de Triomphe :) major shopping street indeed. Oh and before that, an Andy Warhol exhibition in les Grand Palais. I never knew he was so cool.

D4: Centre Pompidou. Spent almost the whole day on just 1 floor! Then it was lovely Montmartre with it's Sacre-Coeur. Extraordinaire view of Paris from there!

D5: Quai Branly. But that Jazz exhibition was just not that interesting, I'm sorry. After that my roommate
Left me to go to Lyon, so for the last 2 days I've been feeling as if I'm all by myself in Paris. Got out of my comfort zone and went to the musee Guimet by myself. Saw a lot of Asian art (cause I was getting sick of Primitivism). Funny story I've already 2 Asian art book so far LOL. Can't resist these cool French "libraiies". Then some people took me out with them to see the Eiffel Tower sparkling at every hour at nigt :) last time I saw that happenig was wheni was at home watchig fashion Tv lmao

D6: that means today. Went to Saint Germain blvd and had an espresso at Cafe Flore where famous existentialists went before includin Picasso and Camus. Then now I'm trying to write those
Darn essays so that I could go to Chartres tomorrow! But I have to read first.

That's it for the first week:) Paris has too many places to go and I don't have that much space in my camera :(
Cheers! I'm getting tired of typing on this thing >.<
